These small tracked vehicles represent a new field of autonomous military vehicle. They can rove ahead of an army performing reconnaissance tasks or travel alongside infantry carrying heavy loads. And of course, they can be armed.
I'm interested in hearing from businesses that are designing and promoting UGVs. What is the enabling technology that means UGVs are appearing today? What roles are envisaged for them and how will they be integrated with regular forces?
I'm also keen to hear opinions from anyone with relevant military experience. How practical are these mini-tanks?
