Risk is always a difficult subject to define, which is why my commission is very exact. I want to hear from businesses both large and small that operate an extended international supply chain and have taken steps to identify and mitigate the risk element here.

*Supply Chain Risk Management. Outsourcing of production carries its own problems. What risks do companies experience when trying to maintain manufacturing bases abroad (Japan post-Tsunami for example). Give examples of other supply chain management problems especially those affecting access to basic resources. What are companies doing to mitigate these risks?
